Stancold installs insulated whitewall partitioning to create bespoke temperature-controlled environments. We can also rely on your network of industry partners to delivery additional elements such as refrigeration, floor covering, kerbing, edge protection, and racking as part of your cold storage build project.
While we are more than equipped to fit-out a new build facility with bespoke temperature-controlled environments, we can also fit-out a facility extension, newly acquired sites or a repurposed area of your existing facility.
The best time to get in touch with our team is when you are in the planning stages of creating a new temperature-controlled space either in your existing facility or as part of a new site.
Stancold uses insulated composite panels (also known as whitewall panels, cold store panels or sandwich panels) to build bespoke internal environments for UK producers and distributors. These panels are free-standing, can have a hygienic finish and can be used to construct chillers, freezers and other temperature-controlled environments.
Our part of a new build project is the internal fit-out once the facility shell is constructed.
While we handle a range of project scopes for UK facilities, our solutions are typically not as cost-effective for spaces under 25m².
Stancold is an insulated panel contractor, so we supply and then install whitewall panels to create bespoke internal environments. If you are looking for supply only, we recommend going straight to the panel manufacturer rather than a cold room installation company.
Stancold’s team of cold store contractors work to build bespoke industrial temperature-controlled spaces rather than provide prefabricated units.
Stancold’s cold storage solutions are engineered for large‑scale production or distribution sites, so they aren’t the right fit for hospitality or retail environments. For these spaces, a refrigeration contractor or a prefabricated unit would be more suitable
Are Stancold’s cold storage construction solutions applicable where N+1 specifications are required?
Yes! Stancold can work with our refrigeration partners or your chosen refrigeration contractor to ensure your cold storage space has N+1 or further backup.
